Authorization for JMP 18

Hello, I have been using JMP 18 for my QBA class at Baylor as it is required for the class. I tried to use it today as of 10/7/2025, but it won't let me in the application anymore. It keeps saying I don't have any software authorization and to start a trail. I have had the application downloaded for a while now and this is the first problem I have run into. I have a windows computer, and I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. I have deleted the whole thing and redownloaded from the very beginning steps. Nothing has change, please help me as I need this for class, thank you in advance

Hi,

I wonder if the permission file (jmp.per) got corrupted and was deleted from your installation.

 

You can check its status by looking into the C:\Program Files\SAS\JMP\18\ folder. It is a simple text file that lists your platform and the Start and End Dates for your license (you can open it using the WordPad and NotePad applications)
