Overview
This guide instructs Software Administrators in managing your authorized JMP users. For clarity, this guide uses JMP to refer to JMP, JMP Pro, and JMP Clinical.
Managing Users
JMP users must be authorized by email address. Administrators manage the list of authorized users by email address in My JMP. When a user launches JMP for the first time on a machine it will prompt to verify their email address and authorize JMP. Refer to How to Manage Users for instructions.
Downloading JMP as a Software Administrator
As the software administrator for your site, you can package and deploy JMP according to your business needs. Software administrators will receive a notification email with the subject: Your JMP Software is available, directing you to My JMP to access your software. Refer to How to Download JMP - Software Administrator for instructions.
User Experience
After the Software Administrator authorizes user email addresses, an automatic email, announcing the user has been granted access to JMP, is sent from JMP Statistical Discovery LLC ([email protected]) to each authorized email address. The email includes the name of the software administrator and instructions on how to download the software.
