Exploring and Visualizing Models with JMP Profiler
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Nettuno 1
NOTE: Workshops require an additional fee. Have you ever felt like your model is a “black box”? Have you wondered what your models really mean? Discover how JMP’s Profiler platforms help you explore and visualize statistical models with ease. In this hands-on session, learn how to navigate the Profiler interface, interpret complex model behavior, and uncover insights through interactive visualization. We cover key components, options, and features that make interpreting models intuitive and powerful. By the end, you’ll be equipped to confidently use the Profiler to understand relationships and effects in your data. After presenting an overview, this session covers: Producing and saving predictions (including Bagged Predictions in JMP Pro). Changing the appearance of the Profiler. Determining the sensitivity of the prediction formula to changes in the predictor variables. Expanding intermediate formulas. Showing linear constraints in the Profiler. Visualizing interaction effects, overlaid interactions, and how close the data are to the model. Animating the Profiler. Assessing variable importance for the overall model and for individual observations with Shapley values. Controlling the display of extrapolation. Finding conditional predictions in models with random effects. Understanding propagation of error in prediction formulas. Please note: This workshop primarily uses JMP but shows some (minimal) JMP Pro features. We can provide access to a virtual lab to use on your laptop if you want to try these features but do not have JMP Pro installed at the time of the workshop.

Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning Fundamentals with Modern Industrial Applications
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Nettuno 4
NOTE: Workshops require an additional fee. We are in the midst of incredible and exponential growth of applications of large language models and machine learning across all branches of science and engineering. This workshop covers several intriguing examples where applications of modern methods can bring key new insights and walks step-by-step through a few practical use cases, illuminating good analysis principles along the way. The XGBoost, Torch Deep Learning, and JMP Assistant add-ins provide easy and powerful access, covering a broad range of predictive modeling problems for image, unstructured text, and tabular data. A primary goal is to provide you with increased know-how and confidence in applying newer ML models with best practices. Please note: This workshop requires JMP Pro. We can provide access to a virtual lab to use on your laptop if you do not have JMP Pro installed at the time of the workshop.

Accelerating Innovation with Bayesian Optimization in JMP Pro 19
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Nettuno 3
NOTE: Workshops require an additional fee. Bayesian optimization is an active learning technique that will dramatically reduce the time and cost of getting new products to market. It leverages all the information available, learning from the responses to make recommendations for what to try next. This workshop introduces the Bayesian Optimization platform in JMP Pro 19. Using this new platform, the methodology becomes instantly approachable to anyone familiar with the JMP Profiler’s incredible generality for handling multiple responses and input constraints. While the platform is easy for novices to learn, requiring no prior statistical or machine learning training to get started, it is no black box. Individuals with modeling experience can quickly understand how it works. The assumptions and requirements are so minimal that existing practitioners may find they have more habits to unlearn than new concepts to learn. Please note: This workshop requires JMP Pro. We can provide access to a virtual lab to use on your laptop if you do not have JMP Pro installed at the time of the workshop. Topics include: How to use the Bayesian Optimization platform to efficiently solve real industrial product and process design problems. The methodology behind the platform, which should inspire confidence in its use. When to use the Bayesian Optimization platform for the greatest benefit.

Optimizing and Simulating with JMP Profiler
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Nettuno 1
NOTE: Workshops require an additional fee. Take your modeling skills further by exploring the optimization and simulation capabilities of JMP’s Profiler platforms. This hands-on session focuses on using profilers to find optimal settings, explore trade-offs, and simulate real-world scenarios. Learn how to apply advanced features in JMP and JMP Pro to perform goal seeking, sensitivity analysis, and predictive simulations. By the end, you’ll know how to use the Profiler not just to interpret models, but to make informed decisions and optimize outcomes. This session covers: Setting response goals and optimizing prediction formulas. Remembering and comparing optimized settings. Optimizing under constraints. Simulating from the prediction formula. Conducting simulation experiments. Exploring the Defect Profiler and Defect Parameter Profiler. Using the Design Space Profiler. Performing contour profiling and surface profiling. Accounting for noise factors. Please note: This workshop primarily uses JMP but shows some (minimal) JMP Pro features. We can provide access to a virtual lab to use on your laptop if you want to try these features but do not have JMP Pro installed at the time of the workshop.

Advanced Configuration for Control Charts with Proactive Triage
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Nettuno 4
NOTE: Workshops require an additional fee. Scaling process control requires more than just monitoring; it demands thoughtful configuration and a systematic approach to interpreting warnings and then acting quickly. After equipping you with some control chart basics, this interactive workshop quickly moves on to advanced techniques for configuring charts, including showing the last 20 subgroups, customizing control limits and phases, and leveraging tools like JMP Live with the Column Switcher and automatic data refresh to maintain accuracy and responsiveness. The hands-on exercises teach you how to setup control charts in Phase 2 with stabilized limits; sort by row order; create Short Run control charts; triage single and multiple warnings; assign issues to teams; download and analyze warning histories; and perform root-cause analysis for common scenarios such as process shifts. This workshop demonstrates how to integrate these practices into enterprise workflows so that triage results lead to real actions: escalations, remediation, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, and R&D. It also includes real-world examples and best-practice checklists to help you maintain stable processes and strengthen reliability in your organization. Please note: This workshop primarily uses JMP but shows some JMP Live features. If you are not a licensed JMP Live user, you can still participate in the hands-on Control Chart Builder exercises and follow along for the JMP Live components.
