  • Sharing Parameters with constraints for 4PL analysis

Hi,   l am trying to replicate someone else's 4 parameter logistic regression work done in GraphPad where they have the ability to share the upper and lower asymptote and can constrain the slope, can anyone provide some reading that l can follow so l can achieve the same in JMP??   Thanks, Mick.

  • Expand row selection

    I want to select a specific group of rows surrounding a row I can easily identify.  In the instance below, I'm able to capture the row of interest, I now need to expand that by 11 rows above and 15 rows below to have the data block of interest.   Current Data Table() << Select where( Contains( As Column(2), "1st Thickness" );

  • Main Effects Residual Plots in DSD Fit Definitive Screening platform

How are the Main Effects Residual Plots created in the Fit Definitive Screening platform? I've tried to replicate them in Graph Builder but the only plot that comes close is a plot of Predicted Response - Intercept (y-axis) vs Factor levels (x-axis). Basically, normalizing the predicted values around the mean.     Thanks, Mike   (JMP  18)

  • Is this a BUG?What is the speed of inserting code during JSL editing in JMP 18?

I often insert a large amount of code instantly through the input method in the JSL editor. It has long been found that it has been very slow since JMP18, and this phenomenon did not occur in previous versions.
Now I'm using EmEditor to write JSL.

  • How to analyze impact of responses (e.g. PSD) on product performance in spray drying process in JMP

I am working on a spray drying process and have used CCD design with D10, D50, and D90 as responses. However, its dissolution profile and its flowability are dependent on the size distribution of the powder (D10, D50, and D90). What is the best way to analyze the effect of the responses (particle size) on the product performance (dissolution and flowability) given that the size distribution values...

  • Make IMF function more efficient.

I have thousands of file like the attached example (.CSV). Time information is in raw 102 and my measurement data start at raw 242.   Currently I am doing Importing file 2 times, one for Time information and one for test data. After that I use update function to import time information to test data table.    This logic was working with small set of files but it is not efficient on large number of ...

  • Exporting "Recent Files" for migration to new computer

Hello, I have a user that got a new computer but is upset because her "recent files" when she opens JMP is empty. I still have access to her old computer. Is there a way to export and import these files? I did a google search and there was mention of exporting a registry entry but I could not find the SAS Institute Inc. folder they mentioned in that discussion...   Migrating to new system // List ...

  • Testing slices in JMP Pro Mixed Model?

Hello, I am doing a 4-way, full factorial ANOVA with one repeated measures factor (time, 3 samplings) and three between-subject factors (species, color, and irrigation; 2 levels of each) using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro 18.1.0. I'm using the AR(1) repeated covariance structure, as it provides the best fit based on AICc values. The analysis indicates I have no significant 4- or 3-way in...

  • Multicolliniarity issue in a Cox Proportional Hazard Model

Hi Everybody,   I need help to understand and address the following issue.   I'm building a model to predict the development of cardiovascular disease in a cohort. I’ve included two variables that are correlated with each other (R² = 0.83). When I include both in the model, one of them flips direction—it becomes protective instead of a risk factor. But when I include each variable separately, both...

  • How to compare among multiple survey responses? That is, each survey respondent scores multiple factors to be compared.

I have survey responses from the following question: "Seagrass loss can be attributed to what factors?" There are multiple factors which can be scored from 1-5. Thus, each survey respondent will give a number for each factor. I want to identify the factor that respondents indicate is most associated with seagrass loss.   I was thinking of just treating the scores as continuous, with the DV being s...

  • Help with GLM Setup for Species and Year Effects in JMP

Hello, For my thesis, I need to use a GLM model, but I am not sure if JMP is handling my data structure correctly.
I am examining how different factors, such as year and sponge species, affect sponge filtration efficiency. The issue is that I have two sponge species sampled in each year (only two years total), but only one of the species is shared between the years, while the other species is uniqu...
