  • Help needed

    Hi all,
I am writing a script where I select a subset from a data table based on some criteria:
Example dt is my data table with column :Error_ID
I input: "dt_subset=dt<<select where (:Error_ID==0)<<subset(selected rows(1));" and I expect the dt_subset table to be filled by all the entries in the dt table where the column :Error_ID is 0.
Now let us say the dt data table has no Error_ID==0 rows, the dt...

  • Comprehension of correlation coefficiant |r| (what is the cut-off)

Hello all,  I am currently working on a L9 Taguchi matrix design of experiments. I have three parameters that have three levels each and I observe their effects on continuous outputs like pH. I want to see how the pH evolves depending on my three inital factors.  By construction, the L9 matrix considers only principal effects and neglects the interaction between terms. More specifically, it aliase...

  • How to select model terms for small sample size (SHould I use Lasso? chose terms manually with p-value?)

Hi there, I am trying to find the best way to select the terms to include in my quadratic model.  :) First off, I am using Least Squares Method to understand how pH and other continuous (also maybe some discrete indicators to add to my model soon) are affected by three different factors (concentration A , concentration B and ratio C). So I need to find the relationship between the factors (their s...

  • FDE and Gaussian Profiler combined

Hello. Let's see if I am able to explain this well enough to be understandable! I am running a Gaussian Process through Specialised Modelling. My factors are FPC Scores from an FDE analysis, and I am finding it quite tricky to interpret how the resulting FPCs would change the main function of the FDE using the Gaussian Profiler.  Does anyone know of an easy way to link both profilers (FDE and Gaus...

  • Is Bootstrap Available for Indirect Effects in Structural Equation Models in JMP Student Edition?

I am using JMP Student Edition to conduct a mediation analysis using the Structural Equation Models platform. My model contains three observed variables: REG_PRESS as the predictor, GOV_STR5 as the mediator, and CLIENT_OUT as the outcome. The model runs successfully, and I can obtain the Indirect Effects and Specific Indirect Effects results. For the specific mediated relationship through GOV_STR5...

  • Logistic Regression Diagnostics in Generalized Linear Model with Firth Bias Adjustment

I am looking for guidance on how to perform diagnostics (model fit, model form, assumptions, outliers) of logistic regression models created using the fit model generalized linear model personality. The generalized linear model personality must be used in this case because the data has small sample sizes and complete separation. The only diagnostic plots available in the generalized linear model p...

  • Mass Production of JSL Code Generation via JMP Python Integration Using NVIDIA's Free API (DeepSeek V4 Pro)

    Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a highly efficient workflow I've developed that bridges JMP's data manipulation capabilities with the power of NVIDIA's latest AI models running on their free API platform (NIM).
The core idea is to automate the generation of executable Python/JSL scripts directly within JMP, effectively creating a "content factory" for data analysis tasks.
    The Technical Workflow:
    Dat...

  • PLS2 NIPALS Root Mean Square PRESS

    1.  How to get PRESS values in JMP when using PLS2 NIPALS and Leave out One data ? 2.  When finding RMS PRESS using hand written code I get matching answers for toy problems using (n-1)*k as averaging factor where n is no. of observations and y is number of responses.   3.  But in large problems like Baltic or Gasoline the RMS PRESS was not matching with handwritten code.   But coefficients of the...

  • SPC: Run test 2

The customised run test2, can be customised from 7 to 11, say you set it to 7 and you have 7 + another 11 points all below the centerline why does the process screen function.  Why does it

    1) Record 11 as the number of alarms, where in fact there is only 1 single stepchange
    2) Surely it shoud just record 1, as there is only 1 stepchange that affect 7+11 points.  You are not goin to ivestigate all 18...
