Explaining the difference between the natural world and the man-made world to a four year old, I made this picture, categorizing a number of objects.
JMP might be natural to use, but definitely man-made.
All the art is mine, except the red vacuum cleaner, drawn by a two year old. Actually, I'm not sure he meant it to be a vacuum. Apologies to any shepherds.
After the four year old seemed to understand why butter and Lincoln logs might straddle the line, he asked "Where do lies go?"
That's when I added dreams and ideas and JMP, but I think there may be more than two categories.
