Bios

Peter Mroz is currently working for Janssen Pharmaceutical as a Statistical Programmer. Mroz supports the development and implementation of tools to increase efficiency and analytical capability within Global Medical Safety. His previous experience includes 16 years of experience as a programmer and consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, in the area of clinical trials data management. Mroz graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He went on to obtain a master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in computer and systems engineering.

 

Mira Shapiro is a biostatistician and the owner and principal consultant at Analytic Designers LLC. She has over 20 years of experience in analytics, predictive modeling, training, and statistical programming, Mira has been a speaker, instructor, and organizer at statistical software conferences at the local, regional and, international level. She holds a BA in Statistics/Computer Science from George Washington University and an MS in Public Health/Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She consults as a subject matter expert in statistics and statistical programming across multiple industries.
