By default, JMP always presents a variable's levels in alphabetical order. This is not always desirable. For example, you usually prefer to see seasons in chronological order, not alphabetical order. Select Rows Using Histograms

Use the histogram (select Analyze > Distribution) to select rows based on the levels of a variable. The histogram bars are linked to the data table, so clicking on a histogram bar selects every row represented by that bar. Histogram Selection

In the Distribution platform, you can change the order of a histogram for a categorical variable.
