When I launch JMP, I get a warning window that says "PER file does not exist. Please enter the location where the file is located."

If you specified a location other than the default when loading or saving your license file, and for some reason the file becomes inaccessible, you will see this error.

In this case, please try the following:

  1. Launch JMP.
  2. From the JMP File menu, select Preferences.
  3. Select "File Locations" on the left side of the window that appears.
  4. On the right side of the window, select [License File Path].
    Check the license path in the red box in the image below, and click the [Browse...] button to select the license file (JMP.per) you are actually using.
    Note: Leaving the red box blank will tell JMP to look in the default save location.
