naming of control chart limits options preferences

What inspired this wish list request? 

confusion with the name "Summarized Dispersion Chart"

 

What is the improvement you would like to see? 

in the preferences, can we change the name "Summarized Dispersion Chart"?
and replace it by "Individual or XBar chart" or "location chart"
because the term "Dispersion" is misleading and refers to the Dispersion chart itself
(FYI I had a discussion about this with ExxonMobil trainees)

 

Why is this idea important? 

to avoid confusion

Hi @francois_berger , thank you for submitting this request. For all options except Levey Jennings, the preference changes both the statistic used in the dispersion chart and the estimate of sigma used for the location chart. Would a tooltip help make this clearer?

Levey Jennings works differently, and I can see where there might be some confusion - the preference only changes the estimate of sigma used for the location chart. Would it help to have a separate preference for Levey Jennings?
