mouse control for color gradient

In graph builder it's very convenient to pull the axes with the mouse to adjust min, max and the range.

Is it possible to add this functionality also to the color gradient legend?

Hey @hogi! It would be great if you could add some information on why you are asking for this request. What problem would your request solve? An example use case would be very helpful.

In detail:

If a user grabs an axis and drags it, along the axis, he can shift the range, when he drags it inside or out of the praph, he can increase or decrease the range.

If a user grabs the color legend and drags it, he can drag the legend to some other place.

I guess that nobody needs this feature.

New behavior:

- If somebody clicks on the color scale and drags it along the scale, the range is shifted.

- If it's dragged left and right, the range is decreased an increased.

- If the user clicks on the color scale, waits some times and then drags the scale, he can still "drag the scale to some other place" [for the users who really need the old feature]

a similar wish was already submitted in 2020:
Add histogram and sliders in gradient settings within graph builder, and change default values.

Sorry to see that the wish got archived - instead of implemented.

let's hope that it will get into JMP 18.1 ...
