live view for gradient settings

Adjusting gradient settings is very time consuming because the menu has to be closed to get the changes applied.
Often, the settings have to be tried and optimized iteratively.

A "live view" could help:

Not only for the gradient settings, also for the Legend Settings inside the Graph Builder it would be very useful (and time saving) to have a live view/apply button/Keep dialog open option
