What inspired this wish list request?
Publishing some charts to JMP Live, for example MDMCC reports, has been a disappointment. A lot of value for that platform and other use cases comes from graphlets.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Support custom hover labels and graphlets in graph builder when published to JMP Live.
Why is this idea important?
Much of the benefit of displaying data in live reports comes from context provided with and behind that data. If a value is out of spec, why? If a T2 metric is high, what caused it? Without that info on display right where and when it is needed, users need to navigate multiple reports using complicated filtering to learn the same thing.
Two common places where hover graphlets are valuable: context for a single point on a time series trend, and showing time series trends and score contributions for outliers in a latent variable score space.
