What inspired this wish list request? Multiple users in team of varying technical ability. Data tables are locked by default to prevent accidental deletion of scripts by team members. Team members are able to accidently delete scripts and table variables by double clicking on script to rename and then deleting the name.
What is the improvement you would like to see? Script names / table variables should not be able to be renamed by double clicking when the table is locked or removing the name should not be a valid entry as this deletes the script.
