Product ideas help us decide what features to work on next. Additionally, we often look to ideas for inspiration on how to add value to developments already in our pipeline or enhancements to new or existing features.

Passing Bablok

Instead of having the method comparison addin, it would be nice to have passing bablock regression as an alternative to linear regression within Fit y by x.

Advantages:

No need to further keep the method comparision addin uptodate. Also it does not work well in the germen language environment.

Possibility to compare quickly different regression methods.

Passing-Bablok is the preferred method for in vitro diagnostics comparisons when using patient samples (recommended by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) in EP09-A3: Measurement Procedure Comparison and Bias Estimation Using Patient Samples; Approved Guideline).

Yes, I am aware. But there are several issues with that tool.

You get errors in the journal when saving the analysis in the journal.

A native function in JMP allows to be highly flexible.

Thanks

I can report that there has been work in this area for JMP 17. Passing Bablok analysis is now available in Fit Y by X, as an option for Bivariate regression analysis. JMP 17 will be available externally in fall of 2022.
