What inspired this wish list request? At the moment, only a single administrator can be assigned for the JMP software account for the entirety of the business. This was not an issue in the past, but the changes in user management for JMP18 create a burdensome requirement to manage the email address of many hundreds of JMP users. This task would ideally be delegated to an internal IT support function.
What is the improvement you would like to see? I would like for it to be possible to assign additional administrators for a single account. Or, if that is not possible, can we create the role of 'License Administrator' who would be able to make changes to the userlist but would not have the other responsibilities of the administrator role. The new role should not be geographically limited (as many IT support teams are globally distributed).
Why is this idea important? The administrator is often a senior figure and typically quite busy. It is not efficient to bother them (me!) with updates to the authorised user list. It would also make for a more robust system if this process was not dependent on a single individual (who might be on long term sick leave, for example).
