Limit Label Formatting

What inspired this wish list request? 

The current issue exists with no formatting options outside of decimal precision for control chart limit labels. With large numbers, limit labels become unreadable without the option to use scientific formatting. The formatting that you set in the column or in the control chart axis are not respected or consistent with limit labels.

What is the improvement you would like to see? 

1) An additional red box menu item should be added to Control Chart - Limits 

- Limit Label Format

Which shows the same Menu option as in the column

2) The formatting selected in the column properties should be carried over to the formatting of the Limit Labels in Control Charts

Why is this idea important? 

Control charts provide an important monitoring tool for manufacturing companies. These are often submitted as part of documentation in reports. Having readable labels (due to formatting) provides key information at a glance. This is currently, to my knowledge, not possible to achieve in JMP.

Hi @StephenBolton , I believe the functionality you request is currently available if you double-click on the limit summaries table. You can select column formatting and apply it to other columns. You can also use Semantic Formatting to apply these formatting changes in future graphs.
