What inspired this wish list request?
We are using JMP Live for BI dashboards but the only way to print the charts is through the print function in the web browser. This does not scale well and often leads to having to size the chart on the screen, screen shot the chart, then print from the screen shot. This is very cumbersome, especially if you have multiple charts you need to print.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Id' like to see a print dialog where you can easily set print boundary's and scaling along with a print button for easy set up and printing of JMP Live charts. This also would go along with this wish list where an option to save out PDF's would allow for easy printing as well as users could just select multiple files and print them as needed. If we can get to proper set ups, where you could print from a single button, it would then be amazing to be able to link reports so you could print all your possible report pages from a single button.
Why is this idea important?
Ops teams and Engineering teams need to not only be able to easily look at JMP Live data but print the information to bring to the floor for report outs and operator engagement. Currently the ability to do this is far to clunky. Charts need to be able to be optimized for printing on 8.5x11 pages and be able to print with a single button.
