I Would like to suggest an idea to import factor definiton from an EFA from the factor analysis platform into the SEM platform. A threshold option to turn all loadings below a certain threshold to 0 and above that threshold to 1. This constrained factor loading matrix can be used to define the measurement model. In many situations this would be helpful to perform CFA, to validate the exploratory factor model (EFA). In connection with this, would like to suggest a validation option for splitting data into test and validation in SEM platform.
