Estimating and plotting simple slopes in an interaction in linear regressions.

In continuation of this exchange: Interactions in OLS regression and simple slopes.

I would like to propose that JMP in a similar manner to SPSS Process or simple R scripts would include in multiple regressions that calculate interactions between variables, the independent value of each variable slope and not only their additive value.

@mrosenthal I'm happy to share that one of our summer interns, @haleyyaremych wrote a fantastic add-in for JMP Pro to test and visualize interaction effects. She included simple slopes and Johnson-Neyman plots. The latter has interactivity that truly elucidates the nature of the interaction, a-la JMP!   Here's a preview:

You can download the add-in here: https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Moderation-and-Mediation-Add-In/ta-p/527203 and read a blog post with examples on how to use it here: https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMPer-Cable/Who-what-why-and-how-Tools-for-modeling-and-visualizing/ba-...

I hope this add-in helps with your immediate needs as we continue to work on adding this functionality into JMP!

Best,

~Laura
