What inspired this wish list request?
In my company, it is common to present data or distributions by box plots, across many different requirements (often > 100 features on a part).
Often, the design team will want to set specs more like control limits, and base a spec on demonstrated capability, usually to 4 or 5 sigma.
It is helpful to be able to present in graph builder, on box plots, or on histograms with error bars set to 3 4 5 or 6 sigma.
This feature is available in process capability platform, but you cannot plot multiple categories, or multiple FAI, on the same plot.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
For Box plot or histogram, please add options to show error bars with more modifications. It would be helpful to add error bars at various sigma (i.e. 3 sigma 1 cpk, 4 sigma 1.33 cpk etc.). At the moment, the only option is to add 1 sigma.
Why is this idea important?
This is very common in apple.
