What inspired this wish list request?
Currently, the JMP output for orthogonal regression only includes the confidence interval calculation for the slope estimate nut not the intercept.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Include the intercept CI in the orthogonal regression report.
Why is this idea important?
From a statistical interpretation standpoint, having an intercept CI is necessary to assess whether 0 remains plausible (Is the intercept different from 0?).
