Bring back the legend for a Y by X - oneway analysis of multivariate data

What inspired this wish list request? In past releases of JMP (15 / 16), one could have a legend for a simple one-way analysis showing the various variables that were used to generate it.  It is now gone.  PLEASE bring it back.

What is the improvement you would like to see? Bring back the legend for this type of graph.

Why is this idea important? High-level executives do not want to have things like quantile plots or other items "cluttering" the data field when looking at overall data pictures, and without that, one cannot seem to generate a legend for a one-way analysis.  This is not helpful and will limit the exposure of the product to line-scientists and their managers / directors.  Sr. executives will wonder why such an expensive product, does not have such foundational and relevant tools for displaying useful data immediately available.  PLEASE go and fixt this pronto.

Status changed to: Needs Info

Thank you for posting,  EagleMed.  We need a little more info to clarify your request. It is possible to create a legend in the Fit Y by X Oneway graph. Right clicking in the plot area allows a legend option. Could you post a screenshot comparing JMP 15/16 output vs. newer JMP output illustrating the change you are referring to? This would help us. Thank you!
