It would be helpful to be able to change the default # of levels for the group X binning as well as be able to save out the current binning from the graph to a new column (similar to the name selection in column).
In JMP 16, you will be able to save the binning to a transform column which you can then save to the data table. You will also be able to build custom bins. For the default number of levels, that is currently not available in Preferences, but could be added in a future release.
