What inspired this wish list request? The result the LCA platform changes every time you run it because you cannot set a random seed. When sharing the results with business stakeholders this problematic because the reported result differs from the demonstrated result. Having to explain why to the results differ adds complexity to what can already be a difficult conversation.
What is the improvement you would like to see? Add the ability to set a random sed to the LCA platform.
Why is this idea important? No need to explain why the reported results differ from the demonstrated results to business stakeholders. Different results, while expandable, can erode confidence in the results, especially for the stakeholders who are less familiar with statistics.
