What inspired this wish list request?
There are plenty of JMP platforms which do not support Multiple response columns. Currently I'm dealing with these manually in some way (or another) before I can continue with my work.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Add "Fall Back" option to Multiple Response columns. This fallback should "turn" the column internally to non-multiple response column if that column property cannot be utilized. Some fall-back strategies could be: first value, last value, combine values and none (default).
Why is this idea important?
Makes it less of a hassle to utilize Multiple Response columns when user could just define how they should be handled on column level (I'm thinking about using Tag for this), instead of creating new columns or something similar.
