Add connectivty for perl (like Python and R)

What inspired this wish list request? 

My organization uses a lot of perl for data handling and transformation, as well as custom database access and analysis.

What is the improvement you would like to see? 

Please add connectivity for perl (strawberry) similar to what exists currently for R and Python

Why is this idea important? 

perl is a very stable language with a very large collection of useful modules (CPAN) which would greatly benefit JMP/perl users.

We utilize Perl for many things in our own tooling.  As much as this would be interesting and useful, it falls outside of what JMP is trying to provide.  Both R and Python have significant following current business environments.  Python has a huge package repository as well.  It's also more the 'cool and upcoming' language.  For us UNIX geeks Perl was the language that filled the void before Python was stable.  

My suggestion, get lots of friends, co-workers, ... to upvote this wish.
