Add a record mode that when selected automatically saves all platform generated scripts, window manipulations, table modifications etc.

Add a Record option that when selected, starts automatically saving the scripts for all platforms run, window manipulations, and data table modifications.  When the Record option is then unselected, the user would be prompted to either place the script into a script window, or to save it to a .jsl file

At least part of this wish might be granted by enhancements to the Enhanced Log Recording, which was available in JMP 16 and got more enhancements in JMP 17. The JSL for many actions are now automatically recorded to the Log. Also new in JMP 17 is the Workflow Builder, which does have a Record button to help you build a workflow from actions you are doing as you do them. JMP 17 is now available.
