Adaptation of general ODBC drivers in Mac

What inspired this wish list request? 

In Mac, you can only install the actual ODbc driver to connect to the database, but this software costs money and is not affordable for the ordinary user.

 

What is the improvement you would like to see? 

In a mac, JMP adapts to normal ODBC drivers for free.

 

Why is this idea important? 

Make the threshold for using JMP moderate

Thank you for submitting this request @lehaofeng . We have been doing a lot of work to make it easier to connect to data, wherever it lives (see https://www.jmp.com/en_us/software/analytic-workflow/data-connectors.html). However, we are not currently working on providing replacements for traditional ODBC drivers for SQL Server, My SQL and Oracle.
