What is the difference between a response surface design generated using the Custom Design platform as compared to the Response Surface platform?

The Custom Design platform generates D-Optimal and I-Optimal designs. While the Response Surface platform generates the Classical Response Surface Designs. Response Surface designs such as Box-Behnken, CCD are not generally optimal. By default in the Custom Design platform if you create a Response Surface design it is referred to as an I-Optimal Response Surface Design.
