Excel 2007 ODBC driver limits import to 255 columns

Although Excel 2007 allows a worksheet to contain more than 16,000 columns, the Excel 2007 (Excel 12) ODBC driver will limit import to 255 columns.

If the Excel 2007 worksheet you wish to import into JMP® has more than 255 columns, the work around is to open the worksheet in Excel and save it as a delimited file, then import it into JMP as a text file.
