JMP® requires the JAVA® COBRA component to connect to SAS®. In JAVA 11, this module has been depreciated. As a result we suggest some installations of JMP 14.2 or older might not be able to connect to SAS.
Currently the only work around is to export files to SAS Transport File (XPT) or Comma Separated Values (CSV) file types to share between JMP and SAS.
