JMP® is a desktop application and designed to install on Windows and Macintosh desktop operating systems.
JMP Server Presentation License
We can provide a JMP Presentation Server License, at an additional cost, which allows installation on Windows Server operating systems.
The license allows your IT to install JMP on a Server operating system, so users can remote into the server using Windows Terminal Services, or Citrix to access JMP. The JMP Presentation Server License must include a seat (max number of users accessing JMP) for every user who accesses the JMP software on the server.
The JMP Presentation Server License does not support floating licenses.
JMP Server Installation, Security, and User Management
Since Server installations can vary based on server configuration, we do not provide detailed server installation instructions. We ask that you consult your Information Technology Team or Consultant for assistance with this process.
Also, it is the responsibility of the Organization’s Site Representative and the Information Technology Team to develop and deploy a plan to secure access to the JMP installation on the server to licensed users.
License Management
JMPs user community provides a JMP Software Administrator page at www.jmp.com/administrator that allows Administrators of JMP to share ideas and methods they have used to deliver JMP to their users. There is also a PDF file entitled the JMP Deployment Guide explaining how to manage and control access to the JMP License file. The PDF file can be accessed and downloaded from the JMP Administrator’s website or from the JMP Deployment Guide page.
