This year’s themeConnecting the world with data we can trust, reflects on innovation and the importance of having authoritative data that you can trust. This week, look for discussion topics in the Community that focus on data and statistics, and add your voice! You may even win a book!

  4. The Story Behind the Story: Insights into truth in data in the news media, including how visualizations and compelling graphics can add transparency to journalism and accurate storytelling. 
  5. Questioning the Numbers of Everyday Life: Author and statistician David Spiegelhalter discusses bias, judgment, transparency and the trustworthiness of statistical claims.
