Hello Mike,

using jmp16 the semiconductur toolkit seems not to work properly (at least for my installation). Is there a recent update which covers jmp16 as well. This would be so helpful,

thanks & kudos for your effort so far,

Ventily

@Ventily - Hi!  Thanks for trying the toolkit.  The JMP14-15 add-in works just fine on everything up to JMP 18. Can you give some more details one what you're seeing?

@MikeD_Anderson Can you remove this or update it?

(18Aug2019) - A note from the author

Hi, All!  It's time to start thinking about a new version of the STK... I've got some things that I'd like to do, but I also want to hear from those using the tool.  If there's something you don't see or think could be improved - drop me a private message.  I do plan to look through the comments section as a sanity check, but I may miss something. So, if it's important, do send me a private message.

@Residentx  - no.  it's still valid.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for creating this Toolkit! I find it very helpful. By any chance, do you have any recommendation for modifying the graphs for those of us running 100mm wafers with a primary flat?

With regards,

Tom Wulz

@twulz555 - Hey!  At the moment you can update the radius for 100mm wafers without issue. The documentations shows  where the settings are to do that.  The issue of flats is something I've got in the next release (whenever I can carve out some time to finish it off...).

Best,

Thank you for your timely response, Mike! I wish you the best.

Map generation is very useful. It makes the map shapes easy to handle.

Unfortunately, if there are many dies on a wafer, it takes a long time to generate a map (already for 100x100 it's several minutes)
Are there activities planned to improve the speed?

@hogi - waiting on some bugs to get fixed in Graph Builder to roll out a new (faster) code base for the addin.

Hey Mike,

Does the current version include the capability I shared with you to upload a Klarf file from a defect inspection tool?  In the description talking about defect clustering, It sounds like you did integrate that code.  If not, please remember to reach out when you plan to carve out time for a new version so I can help get this capability integrated. I did discover some bugs that were fixed since sharing the code with you.

Hello Mike,

I am looking for the Semiconductor Toolkit_V2-1.jmpaddin file. It is not available on the Toolkit main page where the PDF manual and installation files are.

Regards,

Hey @PivotalWhale327 The only two versions of the add-in are available at the top of the page.

Hi, for making wafer map annotations the notch mark seems to always be on the exclusion line not the wafer edge line, is there a way to flip this?

@CJF7CD - Hi!  For the annotation tools (where you're not using map shape files), no.  It's actually just a dot and not part of either line. If you want something a little cleaner, you can use this: https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Sample-Data/Resizable-semiconductor-wafer-outline-and-active-area-s...

Hi,

May I know where can I find the link to download this add-in? I've been scrolling through this webpage for the past few minutes and still unable to find it. Appreciate it if anyone could attach the download link in the comments section. Thank you

DanialKz

This is what I am seeing in the webpage. I could not see any documents/links for downloading the add-ins attached

Hi, @DanialKz - the toolkit is in the process of being moved to the JMP marketplace.  It’s not available here anymore.  There will be an announcement when it’s released.  In the meantime, if you need a quick wafer map, this tutorial should help:

How to make a wafer map in 30 seconds

best,

DanialKz

@MikeD_Anderson Thank you very much for letting me know about this. Please share with us an update once its deemed available inside JMP marketplace.

The link that you shared thought me a few new things such as the isometric view after creating the wafer map. That was interesting and new to me. Thank you so much for sharing Mike! Genuinely appreciate it
