Hi, how to get rid of unwanted interactions in color map of correlations diagram in custom design

Re: correlation diagram

If there are unwanted interactions, then you should just remove them from your model specification before you generate your design. They won't show up in the color map of correlations. But you should have good scientific/statistical reason to remove them from your model before running your experiment.

Re: correlation diagram

Unfortunately in this case, the model specified with only main effects will still exhibit the interactions in the correlations plot.

Re: correlation diagram

Oh wow did not realize that was the case.

@jeet1981 One option is to save the table of correlations (an option under the red triangle) and then delete the interactions and make your own color map

Re: correlation diagram

Assuming those interactions are in the Alias Terms, if you remove them all from the Alias Terms before "Make Design", they should no longer show up in the color map. There's also a saved Evaluate Design script in the data table where you can do the same in that platform (that's where I usually go after I've created the design).
