coding data into treatments

I have raw data of about 3550 data points and need to code this data into four different treatments. Any help on how to go about this?

You need to provide more specifics. 

Is data point 1, treatment 1, data point 2, treatment 2, up to data point 4, and then start with treatment 1 for the 5th data point, etc.?

Or, are the first quarter of the data points, treatment 1, the second quarter, treatment 2........?
