Windows 11 > JMP 19.1 > Fit Model > Standard Least Square > Test for continuous factors?

Hi JMP Community,

I have a fairly naive question regarding the evaluation of continuous factors in a moderately complex model in Fit Model >  Standard Least Squares.

Specifically, I am familiar with the CONTRAST test applicable to Ordinal and Categorical factors. However, I cannot figure out how to evaluate the effect size of a continuous factor.

What is the effect size of CONTINUOUS CLIN VAR on the expression of LOG2 GENE EXP?

What are the effect sizes of the CONTINUOUS CLIN VAR within the interactions?

For a continuous independent variable, I would recommend first defining the range of that variable that you want assess the effect size over.  The effect size is essentially "how much does the response change over the independent variable range of interest".  You can set that range of interest by using the "Coding" column property, and then turn on the Scaled Estimates in the report.  See the scaled estimates ( below) where I set the Coding range to [-20,20]
