Which feature to use to analyze material changes over time?

I have a material property that is measured at some irregular time intervals, usually whenever a new batch of material arrives. The measurement process gauge is known. I want to look at this property and identify changes in material performance and flag the vendor for improvements. Which feature in JMP will help me do this?

Thanks,

Siva

Re: Which feature to use to analyze material changes over time?

The most general tool for this analysis is Graph > Graph Builder. The simplest visualization is a 'run chart:' plot the measurement versus the time and date.

Related is the Analyze > Quality > Control Chart Builder provides a run chart but applies reasonable reference lines ('control limits') for evaluating changes.

See Help > Books for more information about these tools. Of course, continue to ask questions here!
