What regression model is used by Line of Fit in Graph Builder?

I need to disclose in a report which regression model I used, e.g. least squares, Deming, Passing-Bablock. I achieved the regression with Line of Fit function in Graph Builder. Both X and Y are continuous variables. Two Qs:

  1. What is the default regression model used by the Line of Fit function in Graph Builder?
  2. Can the model be changed? (even if in JSL)

Re: What regression model is used by Line of Fit in Graph Builder?

The Line of Fit in Graph Builder is a simple least squares model.

There are a few other methods (Polynomial, Robust Cauchy, and Time Series) available in Graph Builder.

The Method Comparison add-in supports Demming and Passing-Bablock regression.
