SQL code for "Stack" and "Split" JMP buttons

Hi,

 

Does anyone have a SQL code equivalent for the "split" and "stack" options under JMP Tables menu?  Those are very slick and was wondering if there was someone that might know how to do those in SQL?

I've done stuff with PIVOT/UNPIVOT in sql server. But it's always custom.
