SQL Connection

I have a SQL database stored on a virtual computer and JMP is on a different computer. Can I create a connection between the SQL database and JMP without having them on the same computer?

You will have to have an SQL ODBC driver for your database installed on the JMP computer to be able to connect.  JMP will talk to the local ODBC driver which in turn will talk to the ODBC driver on the SQL computer, which will talk to the SQL data
