Publish interactive html to folder issues

Hello Expert,

I've found a weird issue when publishing interactive .html charts to a specified "folder" manually.

I used 2 PCs installed with JMP 17.2.

In 1 of the PCs (let say PC A), error prompted due to destination folder not found.

Another PC (let say PC B), no error to publish the interactive html.

The thing is, I thought I can change / choose the destination folder to save when I click "choose".

But, the parent folder path stated never change even when I choose a different parent folder to save.

I thought, it is a preference issue. But I didn't define any preference.

I have two questions:

- What should I do to standardize the saved path for interactive html folder at both PC ?

- What should I do if I want to change the destination path for ad-hoc interactive html (without preference)?

Re: Publish interactive html to folder issues

This issue seem to be fixed in JMP18.0.

Have you tried other options of saving interactive html (not sure if Publish uses some different method though):

  • Save As and select Interactive HTML
  • Export... Interactive HTML with Data

Re: Publish interactive html to folder issues

Hi @jthi ,

We are still using JMP 17.2.

Different method like Export or Save as is OK for individual chart.

Sometimes, I used Publish when we have 2-3charts to save as interactive .html at the same time (Publish to folder is much efficient).

I just noticed this issue during training to our engineers today (point-click training).

Just feel weird though because the path can be different at different PC.

Good that the issues has been fixed in JMP 18.0 version. I will check it out.

Thanks
