Populating yield by variable

Hi,

I have a problem as shown below(not actual case though). I guess I can use Analyze - Tabulate for a simple dataset however in actual case, I have about 50 variables and 1million rows and it's going to be huge or simply time consuming to do it one by one. I would like to know from example below, how can calculate the yield(n_pass/n_qty * 100) by Test_Stn and parts supplied(in this case, Mat_supplier and Base_supplier). For instance, the expected result will be Yield by Test_Stn - Burn in, x%, Final, y% and Mat_supplier; 3C, a% and 5A, b% spread across the WW. It doesn't matter if the result is populated into new data table.

Thanks.

Adam

Re: Populating yield by variable

Hi Pete,
I think I got the point now. Yup, I will write a simple formula for that.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Populating yield by variable

Maybe I'm not fully understanding your dilemma but can't you just write a simple formula for Yield in the JMP formula editor, then depending on your other criteria I could envision using the Tabulate platform for creating the groups, sub groups, etc. Or maybe for a more visual approach use Graph Builder and the layering/nesting of variables in the x drop zone or group drop zone or combined with maybe column switcher or a local data filter?
