Open file using batch script
I have a linux application that generates text data tables that we study with JMP. I'd like to be able to open these files in JMP with a hotkey.
I was thinking of writing the filename to a standard location, then using a batch script to open the file in the currently-running JMP.
I've tried a batch file with this:
FOR /F "tokens=*" %%I IN (\\server\path\to\file\with\path\to\text\file\to\open) DO @"C:\Program Files\SAS\JMP\12\jmp.exe" %%I
pause
... but the batch script launches a new instance of JMP. Is there a way to open the text file in the currently-running JMP application?

Re: Open file using batch script
Found the answer: add "/shellopen" between the jmp.exe and the %%I.
Hope this helps someone.
