Odd Behavior of bar charts with filters

When changing Hubs, must reselect 'Year' then the bars disappear and have to go to the hot spot and change (unselect or select) count excluded rows.

Re: Odd Behavior of bar charts with filters

Adding a little context after talking with the author of this post and doing some debug:

  • The problem seems to center around having the "Conditional" option turned on under the Filter red hotspot.
  • If you open the attached file and run associated script, you will be able to select any item in either script, and the graph will update properly.  The Conditional option is grayed out from the red hotspot.
  • However, if you have "Conditional" turned on via Preferences, and then run the script, and then try to change filter settings, the graph goes blank and stays blank, regardless of which filter items are selected.  This continues until a hotspot item is changed, which appears to force a "redraw graph."  This action also disables the "Conditional" option for this graph.

At this point I'm not sure if this behavior is "as designed" or if it might be a bug.  Still investigating.
