Modeling Column Values with a Triangular Distribution in JMP Pro 18

I’m trying to model the values in a column using a triangular distribution (defined by minimum, median, and maximum) based on the column’s properties. However, I don’t see the triangular distribution listed as an available option. Could anyone suggest how I might go about modelling these values using a triangular distribution?

Hi @madhu

Triangular distributions are not available in the Distribution platform of JMP and are only found in the simulation tools in the profiler.

You could define the mode, lower and upper values of your data using the table summary tools if that helps?
Thanks,
Ben
