Hello, JMP Community members

Since version 18 of JMP, we have to go through to my.jmp.com portal to assign/unassign licenses.

Has anyone already automated this process? It is common for people to join and leave a company.
If so, would you be willing to share your automation method?

ah, sorry, "assign/unassign".


This answer is more towards "activate":

The email is sent directly to the user’s registered email address.
The validation code must be entered within a short time window.

This design strongly suggests that the user is intentionally required to stay in the loop and actively participate in the validation process.

You might get more responses from JMP User Community Support Software Administrators , although it seems quite quiet. Also, if you happen to go to Discovery Summit, I suggest discussing with the developers and JMP staff, such as @Jeff_Perkinson  (I have for example shared plenty of our licensing issues with Jeff and he has done the best he can to assist us).
