Journal panel
Can anybody suggest me how to make a journal panel for presentation? I see that the JMP presenters use journal panels when presenting JMP webinars (see the screenshot attached). I want to make similar journal panels when presenting JMP analysis with data files to my audience. I use JMP Pro 18.

Re: Journal panel
Just use an existing Journal and adapt it to your needs.
If it's locked, unlock it via
It's worth to invest 15 minutes to read some tips and tricks.
e.g. how to switch quickly from the arrow to the arrow to the selection tool - you will need it 500+ times

Re: Journal panel
Hi @madhu ,
Here's a template journal to get you started. It can take some time to get used to journals, so here's a few tips:
- If you want to add something inside of a box, select with the selection tool (press S), highlight it blue then paste the contents inside.
-Dragging items into journals can be a bit tricky, especially if the item you're dragging into isn't very wide - I recommend making the thing you're dragging into wider (i.e adding more text to it temporarily) and then dragging under.
- Script buttons are a great way to store your results, you can save your whole data table as one script button, then have other buttons execute commands (like pulling up the profiler, or opening graph builder).
- Download the Journal Text Sledgehammer to make editing journals easier.
Hope that helps,
Many thanks,
Ben
