JMP import Excel from columns that are not continuous

My example here is: I have an excel table currently with 50 columns and is continuously growing. I only want to import first 4 column and last 5 column at any time. How do I achieve that with JMP script.

Re: JMP import Excel from columns that are not continuous

I am not aware of being able to input just a specified list of columns from an Excel spreadsheet. (but I am not an Excel expert).  However, if you place this JSL as the first statements after reading in the spreadsheet it will delete the unwanted columns.

Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Current Data Table();
dt << delete columns(index(5,ncols(dt)-5));
